Week 05: ATSNYC 2022 (2020.II)

Fifth week of museum-going down! I checked 2 museums and one honorable mention. I was hoping to get another few in this weekend, however, there was a no’easter where many places decided to close for a snow day in the interest of saftey.

Honorable Mention: Museum of Future Experiences

An honorable mention is a museum or cultural institution that didn’t make the spreadsheet so, it doesn’t get included in the tally, but rather will have its own, and be sussed out at the end of the goal. (now, shouldn’t i wait for honorable mentions to the end? no, some are limited runs like this, that work in the spirit but goal, and some should have been added from the start, so needed to stop editing the spreadsheet at some point for a final year count). I need to consider how pop-up “museums” function for future visiting and if that’s really even in the ethos of museums as they exist. (but! stay tuned, that’s for the end of year summaries)
